The vibrant city of Grenoble hosted the 4th Annual Conference on 28. – 29. May 2024, bringing together battery experts and enthusiasts for an exciting two-day event. The conference provided an opportunity to network with key stakeholders in the battery research community and engage in meaningful discussions that are driving green innovation. Naturally, the OPINCHARGE project could not miss on such an high profile conference. Here are our insights from this unique experience.
The conference featured a diverse programme, inlucding industry presentations, keynote speeches, young scientists’ sessions, poster pitches and sessions as well as lots of networking.
Young Scientists kicked off the event with an informal discussion on relevant topics for their community on 27. Monday.
Attendees also had a chance to visit the CEA labs which cover batteries, nanocaracterisation, modeling and integration for mobility. Additionally, they toured the European Synchrotron (ESRF) and the Institut Laue Langevin.
The OPINCHARGE initiative was proudly presented by:
Our presence at the conference raised awareness among current and future partners about our efforts to reinvent the way we invent batteries.
Our journey to unravel the atomic-level processes using working nanoanalytical techniques and combining expertise in chemistry, physics, and isotopes is far from over.
A huge thank you to BAttery2030+, CEA, EMIRI, and all the speakers and participants for making this event a remarkable success.
We are proud to drive battery innovation among respectable partners from the following projects: RENOVATE, PHOENIX, SALAMANDER, OPERA, ULTRABAT, BATTwin, ReUse, REVITALISE, STREAMS, HEALING BAT, CICERO, BatCAT, BIG MAP.
